Project KARA is a five minute short/tech demo developed by Quantic Dream produced to showcase their new engine capable of delivering incredibly complex and emotional motion capture performances. Remember, this is not a pre-rendered cinematic. It is in-game footage running on a current generation PS3, no different than one sitting in your living room.

This five minute video has more of an emotional punch than all my video games put together. Even if you don’t like video games, watch this.

Well I wouldn’t say that (Mass Effect! Dragon Age! L.A. Noire! Bioshock! Dead Space! Silent Hill! etc). But it’s a very compact, winning little cyberpunk short, and the animation is very appealing, very expressive. Watch if you enjoy science fiction and digital animation!
